Trauma Awareness, Integration & Post Traumatic Healing You are invited to ground, center & embody via meditation & healing circle. These evenings are designed to create more inner spaciousness and outer awareness so that we can meet, greet and integrate personal, familial, collective and ancestral trauma.
Medical research estimates as much as 90 percent of all illness and disease is stress-related! But, what causes stress? Research has also shown that much of our stress, tension, and anxiety are rooted in minor and major trauma experiences. We are currently swimming in a sea of personal, familial, cultural, and ancestral or intergenerational trauma. This advanced program is designed for anyone interested in post-traumatic growth, mutual integration, and spiritual awakening. Our programs are interactive, embodied, and provide safe sanctuaries for exploring the path of evolutionary growth.
All mammals, that includes us, must have co-regulation with a parent or caregiver in order to develop in a healthy, protected, and safe way by being felt, seen, heard, and loved. Seemingly insignificant absences by our caregivers can leave us with trauma adaptations that shape our ways of being in the world and cause deep stress, anxiety, and habitual behaviour that keeps us repeating unwanted and disempowering behaviour. In this program, we support each other with full-bodied listening, inner sensing, and receiving each other’s pain and growth in mutuality. This witnessing supports us in regulating and healing the root causes of our suffering and struggles.
In this program we will explore:
Methodology
These integrative sessions begin with a guided meditation, lead into a teaching session*, and then work in small breakout groups to deepen our experience in the learning process. Throughout the program, Michael will be facilitating to help people integrate the wounded and fragmented parts that have been suppressed and dissociated in the face of overwhelming life situations.
*(Teaching will include exploring: Attachment Styles, Polyvagal Theory & Healing, Somatic practices, emotional regulation, stress reduction practices, resourcing for safety growth, post-traumatic awareness, integration and healing techniques, and many more mindfulness and awareness practices…)
