Trauma Awareness, Integration & Post Traumatic Healing You are invited to ground, center & embody via meditation & healing circle. These evenings are designed to create more inner spaciousness and outer awareness so that we can meet, greet and integrate personal, familial, collective and ancestral trauma.
We are all swimming in a sea of Trauma and for the most part it is invisible and at the heart of most of humanity's suffering. These events are designed to create a space for trauma awareness, integration and healing through awareness-based practices such as meditation, contemplation, prayer and most of all, creating a safe space to feel felt, seen and heard in a supportive group field.
If we didn't get the nurturing we needed as a child our very intelligent and protective nervous system adapted by suppressing overwhelming emotions, experiences and situations. These unintegrated experiences from the past become frozen in our bodies, diminishing our vital energy and ability to respond to difficult situations. This work will allow us to move from habitual reaction to emergent response-ability when confronted with life's challenges.
We begin our circle with a grounding, centering and embodiment meditation designed to create more inner spaciousness and outer awareness so that we can meet, greet and integrate personal, familial, collective and ancestral trauma in a safe and supportive space. From that grounded place we will open the circle as an exploration into the practices, challenges and opportunities for trauma release, integration and post traumatic healing.
Michael Stone has been teaching and leading groups and transformational programs for over 50 years. All are welcome. This is a donation-based event.

Testimonials
Michael does a great job of creating a safe container. There is an alchemy that takes place in his groups, that promotes healing, growth, and greater self-awareness. I am also learning a lot from Michael about how to work somatically with my clients, and my creativity has been reignited from a three-year hiatus.
Bonnie E., Psychotherapist
I have been getting more comfortable and able to feel the feelings and sensations arising in my body, especially when interacting with others. I have been growing in my capacity to stay with myself and my experience when with others.

The circle has helped me immensely in not feeling alone and feeling seen in a pretty vulnerable state. I think we all get to see each other in a way that's out of the ordinary and empathize with each other in a deep way. It is such a good feeling to be seen by you and then to realize that the whole circle has seen me. I feel shy but I do want attention and help! It's so powerful in the group setting and I understand why you choose to do it that way. There's something very beautiful about being real with a group of strangers. Without you as the facilitator and your intention behind it all, when would strangers show themselves to each other like that? When I apply your teachings about trauma integration into daily life, I am doing less running in mental circles to avoid my feelings and fix myself and I find a time and a way to move into my feelings. The way that you work with us shows me the power of sensitivity and presence with ourselves or someone else. I also try to remember that no one else has the answers for me as much as I want help or to be saved and that I need to do the work now and every day (meditation, awareness of body and emotions). I find myself talking about trauma integration with people I'm close with and explaining it as you do to us. You are an inspiration in serving the community and I hope that one day I can be such a grounded healing presence in the world too.
Sincerely, Steph Singer of Life
Michael Stone's Trauma Circle group has allowed me to open up to others and to hear others in deep and profound ways. I didn't know how much healing was possible by being able to share in a safe and supported space. I have connected the dots and released stress and trauma from my body, mind, and spirit. Thank you, Michael!
Yvonne R., NP
This class has allowed me to find a safe space to feel unwanted feelings and process them with others who are compassionate and understand and accept me as I am.
Mike Z, Retired Environmental Scientist
I have gotten help with group therapy beyond what I had expected. This came at a horrific time in my life. Thank you so much as I can believe and breathe so much better.
Bob N
In this group, I’ve found a safe, loving circle where I can muck about in old hurts and explore how they affect me. Anything is safe to talk about and is received with love.
Diane M., RN
By attending this class I am able to get time for myself and care for myself by bringing awareness to my hurt and supressions. I have been able to get in touch with my parents and their lives and meet like-minded people.
Sunita S., Cardiovascular Tech
I’ve healed so many wounds that, in retrospect, have affected me for my whole life. I’ve also found a wonderful group of people I feel close with and I am happy to have made many new friends.
Julian R., Engineer and experiencer of life
Michael is an extremely skilled facilitator and creates a safe container for healing to occur. His group has enabled me to change the way that I meet myself and my emotional landscape, from one of shame/rejection to one of acceptance of myself and others. I have also bonded with other members of the group and feel held and safe in community with like-minded others who are interested in deep internal work.
