This is the fourth year that I have had the privilege of hosting the Shift Network’s Shamanism Global Summit. Each year the conversations with these mystic shamans, sangomas and medicine people from around the world continues to deepen. I believe that this deepening comes not only from the very heart of these amazing luminaries and wisdom keepers, but from the depth of listening available today on our beautiful blue planet. It comes from you the listeners who are hearing the calling from the very heart of nature. It’s as though the earth herself is listening, calling, and coaxing us to step out of our somnolent slumber of selfness and hear the entire cosmos calling for unity, connection, compassion and opening to the animistic power of inter-being with all life…

During the three days of the summit (July 10-12) you will hear a vast array of wisdom, inspiration and practical processes intended to guide you to an experience of your most authentic, original and sacred self and teach you how to navigate these turbulent times of transformation and awakening to the Spirit that lives in all things. We can no longer wait for a savior, politician or outside expert to save us. Shamanism is a practice of self revelation and this revolution is coming from within, consciousness itself is awakening in us. We hope you will join us for this journey into the spacious interiority as it merges with the external beauty that surrounds us. The human soul is hungry to come home to this beauty.
This year we have many new teachers from around the world. I’d like to share some of these well known and not so well known visionaries with you today. One of the pioneers at the heart of the explosion of interest in the shamanic movement is Sandra Ingerman. Sandy will be sharing about The Power of Ceremony for Healing and Blessings, and why bringing ceremony into our daily lives is so important at this time. Another well known Shamanic teacher, Alberto Villoldo, will talk about a Shaman’s Journey Beyond Death which leads to Awakening our Immortal Soul. Also a popular and well known shamanic teacher is Robert Moss, the creator of Active Dreaming. Robert talks about how physics is catching up with shamanic dreaming and now asserts that we may be leading continuous lives in parallel worlds and the possibility this presents for transformation in our lives…
I’m very excited about some of the new teachers I will be presenting this year. For the past year I have had the privilege of studying with Christina Donnell. In nearly 5 decades of immersing myself in the field of consciousness expansion, I have never met a teacher who penetrates the heart so deeply. Christina will be sharing about Shamanic Wisdom for Embodiment of Unity. “When awareness touches our spacious interiority, nondual awareness emerges and a different plane of consciousness is realized.” Another amazing new teacher is Daniel Foor, the author of Ancestral Medicine. Daniel will be speaking about how to Partner with Our Ancestors for Personal, Family and Cultural Healing. His deep wisdom about the importance of our recognition of both the well and not yet well ancestors is deep and profound. Awo Falokun Fasegun is a priest of Ifa. He was initiated into the Ifa priesthood in Ode Remo, Nigeria. In this segment we talk about how slavery and colonialism have overshadowed the depth and wisdom of the ancient African shamanic traditions.
Of course these are only a few of the amazing lineup of Wisdom teachers that will be part of the summit!
