We live in an ocean of individual, familial, cultural, and ancestral trauma! It is an invisible epidemic that impacts us all. It keeps us separate and shapes how we see and relate to each other and the world. It comes in waves that create patterns that can throw us up on the shores of loneliness, despair, self-doubt, disconnection, and fear!
Surfing is a sport of presencing, flowing with the movement of life, being in balance, and harmony with the natural world. You cannot stay on your board if you aren't keenly aware of what’s happening moment to moment. If you go down you could drown in the turbulent undertow of a living, breathing system!
Many of us are drowning in the undertow of our past, unable to meet life with presence, possibility and a sense of belonging. We feel the stress, anxiety, and hopelessness of a future of uncertainty, doubt and fear. We want to be strong, have agency and make a difference, but feel that what we do doesn’t matter or make a difference.
If this experience resonates with you we invite you to join our community coaching, healing and support group. To feel that we belong, matter and have a purpose, we need to feel felt, seen and heard. This is how we integrate and heal the frozen and dissociate parts of our past that keep us drowning in fear, self-doubt and criticism. We need each other to heal.
